Glow AHA Dew - Exfoliating Serum
Size: 30 mL
A dewy 20% fruit-acid treatment for visibly smoother, brighter, more luminous skin
A burst of fresh fruit acids. A juicy veil of aloe and botanical hydration. A newly luminous glow.
Glow AHA Dew is a concentrated exfoliating serum formulated with a 20% blend of alpha hydroxy acids derived from apple, bilberry, sugar cane, orange, lemon, and sugar maple extracts.
Its dewy gel texture glides effortlessly over the complexion, helping dissolve the bonds that hold dull, spent cells to the skin’s surface—without the physical friction of a facial scrub. Aloe vera, botanical hyaluronic acid, green tea, and white tea complement the exfoliating acids with lightweight hydration and antioxidant-rich botanical care.

Who It’s For
Glow AHA Dew is especially suited to:
- Dull or lackluster complexions
- Rough or uneven-feeling texture
- Visible pores and surface congestion
- Fine lines associated with dry, dull surface buildup
- Uneven-looking skin tone
- Areas of visible discoloration
- Oily or acne-prone complexions
- Mature-looking skin
- Milia-prone surface texture away from the immediate eye area
- Keratosis pilaris-prone texture on the body
- Those who prefer exfoliation without a physical scrub
Because Glow AHA Dew contains a concentrated 20% AHA blend, it may not be appropriate for every highly sensitive or reactive complexion. Begin with a short application once weekly and increase only when the skin remains comfortable.
Do not apply to significantly broken, burned, freshly shaved, recently waxed, or actively irritated skin. Avoid use immediately following another intensive exfoliating treatment.
The Elaa Ritual
Before the first application
Patch test Glow AHA Dew before applying it to a larger area.
Apply a small amount to clean skin in an inconspicuous location, leave it on for five minutes, and rinse thoroughly. Observe the area before proceeding with a full application.
As a weekly exfoliating serum
Begin by using Glow AHA Dew once per week.
Cleanse the skin and gently pat it dry. Apply a thin, even layer over the desired area, avoiding the eyelids, immediate eye area, lips, nostrils, and other especially delicate areas.
For the first application, leave the serum on for five minutes. If the skin remains comfortable with repeated use, the application may gradually be extended to ten minutes.
Gently remove Glow AHA Dew with a soft, wet facial cloth and rinse away any remaining serum. Do not scrub during removal.
Mist with Moonlight Mist or one of Elaa’s Probiotic Toning Mists and finish with one of our serums and moisturizers.
Adjusting frequency and application time
Individual skin tolerance determines how often Glow AHA Dew should be used.
Begin with one short application per week. If the complexion remains calm and comfortable, frequency may gradually be increased to two applications weekly. Those with established tolerance may use it up to three times per week if desired.
Do not increase both frequency and application time simultaneously. Adjust only one aspect of the ritual at a time so the skin’s response can be observed.
More frequent use is not always more effective. Reduce the frequency or shorten the application whenever the skin begins to feel persistently tight, dry, tender, or uncomfortable.
For milia-prone surface texture
Apply a very thin layer to the affected facial area while carefully avoiding the eyelids, lash lines, and immediate eye contour.
Begin with a five-minute application once weekly and increase only according to tolerance. Do not attempt to extract or aggressively scrub small bumps.
For keratosis pilaris-prone body texture
Apply a thin layer to clean, dry skin on the desired body area. Begin with a five-minute application, then rinse thoroughly.
Use once weekly at first. Frequency may be increased gradually when the skin remains comfortable.
Do not apply immediately after shaving, waxing, dry brushing, or using another exfoliating body treatment.
To pair with Pineapple Illumination
Glow AHA Dew provides chemical exfoliation through fruit- and sugar-derived alpha hydroxy acids, while Pineapple Illumination provides a separate polishing experience.
Those with established exfoliant tolerance may use the two products within one ritual:
First cleanse the skin. Apply a thin layer of Glow AHA Dew and leave it in place for no more than five minutes.
Without removing Glow, apply a small amount of Pineapple Illumination and massage very gently in circular motions. Once the desired area has been lightly polished, rinse both products away thoroughly.
Mist with Moonlight Mist or one of Elaa’s Probiotic Toning Mists and finish with one of our serums and moisturizers.
This combined ritual creates a stronger exfoliating experience and should not be the starting method for new users, highly sensitive skin, or skin that has not already demonstrated tolerance to each product individually. Discontinue the combined method if persistent dryness, tenderness, or irritation develops.
About the Ingredients
The 20% Fruit-Acid Experience
Glow AHA Dew combines several alpha hydroxy acids, each derived from a fruit or sugar source:
- Malic acid from apple
- Lactic acid from bilberry
- Glycolic acid from sugar cane
- Citric acid from orange and lemon
- Malic and tartaric acids from sugar maple
Together, these water-soluble acids loosen the bonds between dull cells at the skin’s surface so they can be gently removed. This helps reveal the fresher-looking skin beneath and gradually improves the appearance of texture, visible pores, fine lines, dullness, and uneven tone.
Unlike a mechanical exfoliator, Glow AHA Dew does not depend on physical particles or vigorous massage. It performs its exfoliating action while resting in a thin layer on the skin.
Remove the serum immediately if you experience a strong sensation that becomes intensely uncomfortable or if burning develops.
The intensity of an AHA treatment is influenced by the length of application, frequency of use, and individual skin tolerance. Do not assume that a longer application will necessarily produce a better result.
Aloe Vera Leaf Juice
Aloe vera creates the fresh, water-based foundation of Glow AHA Dew. It provides lightweight surface hydration and helps leave newly exfoliated skin feeling soft and conditioned.
Its naturally occurring polysaccharides, amino acids, vitamins, and minerals complement the formula’s fruit-acid blend and support a comfortable skin feel.
Cassia Angustifolia Extract
Cassia angustifolia is a botanical extract obtained from the seeds of the Indian senna plant. Rich in polysaccharides and galactomannans, it helps attract and retain surface moisture.
Often described as a botanical hyaluronic acid alternative, cassia supports a supple, smooth, hydrated skin feel and helps balance the sensorial intensity of the exfoliating acids.
Apple-Derived Malic Acid
Malic acid from apple fruit extract helps loosen dull surface buildup and improve the appearance of rough or uneven texture.
As part of the complete AHA blend, it contributes to the serum’s brightening, refining, and smoothing cosmetic effects.
Bilberry-Derived Lactic Acid
Lactic acid from bilberry fruit extract provides water-soluble exfoliation while supporting a softer, more hydrated skin feel.
It helps improve the visible appearance of dullness, fine surface lines, uneven texture, and areas of discoloration.
Sugar Cane-Derived Glycolic Acid
Glycolic acid from sugar cane extract helps remove accumulated surface cells and refine the appearance of uneven texture.
Its exfoliating action supports a brighter-looking complexion and can gradually soften the visible appearance of fine lines, pores, and surface congestion.
Orange- and Lemon-Derived Citric Acid
Citric acid derived from orange and lemon fruit extracts contributes to the formula’s multi-acid exfoliating action.
It helps refresh dull-looking skin and supports a smoother, more even-looking complexion.
Sugar Maple-Derived Malic and Tartaric Acids
Malic and tartaric acids from sugar maple extract complement the other alpha hydroxy acids in Glow AHA Dew.
Together, they help loosen dull surface buildup and support the appearance of fresh, polished, radiant skin.
Green Tea Extract
Green tea contains naturally occurring polyphenols, including catechins. These antioxidant plant compounds help defend the skin’s appearance against the visible effects of everyday environmental stress.
Green tea supports a fresh, balanced-looking complexion while complementing the formula’s exfoliating and hydrating ingredients.
White Tea Extract
White tea is rich in naturally occurring catechins and other antioxidant compounds. It supports the appearance of smooth, healthy-looking skin and contributes to the serum’s antioxidant botanical profile.
Mandarin Oil
Mandarin oil contributes a bright, juicy citrus note that complements the serum’s fruit-acid character.
Lavender Oil
Lavender oil adds a soft herbaceous-floral note and helps round out Glow AHA Dew’s fresh aromatic profile.
Rose Geranium Oil
Rose geranium provides an elegant green-floral aroma that balances the brighter citrus oils.
Bergapten-Free Bergamot Oil
Bergapten-free bergamot oil contributes a refined citrus character. The bergapten-free form is used to avoid the naturally occurring bergapten associated with conventional expressed bergamot oil.
Neroli Oil
Neroli lends a delicate orange-blossom aroma that completes the serum’s fresh fruit-and-flower experience.
