Pineapple Illumination - Microderm Enzyme Polisher & Mask
Size: 100 mL
A juicy pineapple enzyme gelée that polishes away dullness for remarkably soft, luminous skin
Luminescence in a jar. Golden pineapple. Mineral-rich. A fresh, gleaming complexion.
Pineapple Illumination is a gentle yet highly active enzyme polish and mask created to smooth dull surface buildup and reveal the skin’s natural radiance. Pineapple provides naturally occurring fruit enzymes and acids, while finely textured Velvet de Guérande creates a delicate physical polishing action and bathes the skin in its naturally occurring minerals.
Aloe vera surrounds the complexion with lightweight hydration as chamomile, yarrow, linden, fennel, green tea, turmeric, vitamins C and E, alpha lipoic acid, and zinc picolinate complete this vibrant botanical treatment.
What It Is Formulated to Do
Its succulent gelée texture may be massaged over the skin as a facial polish, left in place as a mask, or used in both ways during the same ritual. Skin emerges feeling exceptionally soft, smooth, refreshed, and beautifully illuminated.
For the face, neck, décolletage, lips, and areas of rough-feeling body texture.

Who It’s For
Pineapple Illumination is especially suited to:
- Dull or tired-looking complexions
- Rough or uneven-feeling surface texture
- Dry, flaky-feeling lips
- Visible pores and surface congestion
- Blemish-prone skin
- Uneven-looking skin tone
- Areas of visible discoloration
- Fine lines associated with dry surface buildup
- Milia-prone facial texture away from the immediate eye area
- Keratosis pilaris-prone body texture
- Mature-looking skin
- Those who enjoy both enzyme and physical exfoliation
- Those seeking an essential-oil-free and added-scent-free treatment
Because Pineapple Illumination combines fruit-enzyme activity with physical polishing, pressure, massage time, mask time, and frequency should always be adjusted to individual skin tolerance.
Very sensitive or highly reactive skin should begin with a patch test, minimal massage, and a short mask application. Do not apply to significantly broken, burned, freshly shaved, recently waxed, or actively irritated skin.
The Elaa Ritual
Stir Pineapple Illumination thoroughly with a clean, dry utensil before each use.
As an enzyme polish and mask
Cleanse the skin and gently pat away excess water.
Using a clean utensil, remove the amount of Pineapple Illumination needed for one application. Smooth an even layer over the face, neck, and décolletage, avoiding the eyelids and immediate eye area.
Gently move the fingertips in circular motions for one to two minutes, adjusting the pressure to remain comfortable. Do not press heavily or continue massaging if the skin begins to feel tender.
After polishing, leave Pineapple Illumination in place as a mask for an additional five to ten minutes or until nearly dry.
Remove gently with a soft, moist facial cloth, then rinse away any remaining product. Follow with Moonlight Mist, your chosen serum, and a facial oil, balm, or moisturizer.
As an enzyme mask without polishing
Apply an even layer to clean skin, avoiding the immediate eye area.
Leave in place for five minutes during the first application. If the skin remains comfortable with repeated use, mask time may gradually be extended to ten minutes.
Remove with a soft, moist cloth without scrubbing, then rinse thoroughly.
To extend the moist enzyme ritual
Apply Pineapple Illumination as a mask and mist it periodically with Moonlight Mist to keep the surface lightly moist.
Keeping the mask moist creates a softer experience and allows the pineapple gelée to remain workable. Do not exceed the application time comfortably tolerated by the skin.
As a lip polish
Apply a very small amount to clean lips.
Using a fingertip, massage with exceptionally light circular motions for approximately 15 to 30 seconds. Leave in place briefly if desired, then remove thoroughly with a soft, damp cloth.
Do not apply to cracked, bleeding, severely chapped, or actively irritated lips. Avoid licking or intentionally ingesting the product.
For milia-prone surface texture
Apply a thin layer to the desired facial area, carefully avoiding the eyelids, lash lines, and immediate eye contour.
Use minimal pressure and a short massage, then leave the gelée in place for up to five minutes before removing. Do not attempt to extract or aggressively scrub small bumps.
For keratosis pilaris-prone body texture
Apply Pineapple Illumination to clean skin on the desired body area.
Massage gently in circular motions for one to two minutes, leave in place for up to ten additional minutes, and rinse thoroughly.
Do not apply immediately after shaving, waxing, dry brushing, or another exfoliating body treatment.
To pair with Glow AHA Dew
Glow AHA Dew provides chemical exfoliation through fruit- and sugar-derived alpha hydroxy acids, while Pineapple Illumination provides a separate polishing experience.
Those with established exfoliant tolerance may use the two products within one ritual:
First cleanse the skin. Apply a thin layer of Glow AHA Dew and leave it in place for no more than five minutes.
Without removing Glow, apply a small amount of Pineapple Illumination and massage very gently in circular motions. Once the desired area has been lightly polished, rinse both products away thoroughly.
Mist with Moonlight Mist or one of Elaa’s Probiotic Toning Mists and finish with one of our serums and moisturizers.
This combined ritual creates a stronger exfoliating experience and should not be the starting method for new users, highly sensitive skin, or skin that has not already demonstrated tolerance to each product individually. Discontinue the combined method if persistent dryness, tenderness, or irritation develops.
Frequency
Begin with one application per week.
If the skin remains calm and comfortable, Pineapple Illumination may be used two or three times weekly according to individual tolerance and the intensity of each application.
More pressure, a longer massage, and greater frequency do not necessarily create better results. Reduce the intensity or frequency whenever the skin begins to feel persistently tight, dry, tender, or uncomfortable.
Always use a clean utensil to remove product from the jar. Do not introduce fingers, water, facial mist, or a damp cloth directly into the container.
About the Ingredients
The Enzyme and Mineral Polishing Experience
Pineapple Illumination provides two complementary forms of exfoliation within one treatment.
Pineapple contains naturally occurring bromelain and fruit acids that help loosen dull cells from the skin’s surface. This enzymatic action takes place while the gelée rests on the complexion.
Velvet de Guérande provides the formula’s physical polishing action. As the fingertips move gently over the skin, its fine particles help lift away loosened surface buildup and smooth rough-feeling texture.
The intensity of the treatment can be customized:
- Use lighter pressure and a shorter massage for delicate polishing.
- Massage for up to two minutes when the skin is accustomed to physical exfoliation.
- Leave the gelée in place for five minutes for a shorter enzyme mask.
- Extend the mask to ten minutes when the skin remains comfortable.
- Mist with Moonlight Mist or one of our Probiotic Toning Mists to keep the mask moist and extend the ritual without allowing it to become overly dry.
A mild, temporary tingling sensation may occur as the pineapple enzymes rest on the skin. Remove the product promptly if intense discomfort or burning develops.
Aloe Vera Leaf Juice
Aloe vera forms the fresh, hydrating foundation of Pineapple Illumination. It contains naturally occurring polysaccharides, amino acids, vitamins, minerals, and allantoin.
Within this gelée, aloe helps the mask spread smoothly and leaves newly polished skin feeling soft, hydrated, and conditioned.
Velvet de Guérande
Velvet de Guérande provides Pineapple Illumination with its physical polishing action.
As it is gently massaged over the skin, the salt helps lift away dull surface buildup and smooth rough-feeling texture. Its naturally occurring minerals contribute to the formula’s distinctive sensory experience.
Application pressure should always be adjusted to the skin’s comfort, especially when treating the face or lips.
Pineapple
Pineapple contains naturally occurring bromelain, fruit acids, vitamin C, and antioxidant plant compounds.
Bromelain helps loosen accumulated cells at the skin’s surface, supporting a smoother texture and brighter-looking complexion. Pineapple also contributes the formula’s naturally juicy character and vivid golden-yellow appearance.
Chamomile Flower
Chamomile contains naturally occurring flavonoids and aromatic botanical compounds. It is traditionally incorporated into facial preparations designed to leave delicate or stressed-looking skin feeling calm and comfortable.
Yarrow Leaf and Flower
Yarrow provides naturally occurring flavonoids, tannins, and other botanical compounds. It complements the formula’s cleansing and toning qualities and supports a fresh, balanced-looking complexion.
Sodium Ascorbate
Sodium ascorbate is a form of vitamin C. It contributes antioxidant support and helps promote the appearance of a brighter, more even-looking complexion.
Linden Leaf and Flower
Linden is traditionally used in botanical skin care for its gentle conditioning qualities. Its naturally occurring plant compounds complement aloe, chamomile, and yarrow while supporting a soft, comfortable skin feel.
Fennel Seed
Fennel seed contains naturally occurring antioxidant and aromatic plant compounds. It contributes to the formula’s revitalizing botanical blend and supports a fresh, conditioned-looking complexion.
Green Tea
Green tea is rich in naturally occurring polyphenols, including catechins. These antioxidant compounds help defend the skin’s appearance against the visible effects of everyday environmental stress.
Green tea supports the appearance of smooth, healthy-looking skin and complements the formula’s exfoliating ingredients.
Vitamin E
Mixed tocopherols provide antioxidant support and help condition the skin. Vitamin E complements aloe and the formula’s botanical ingredients, leaving the complexion feeling soft after exfoliation.
Turmeric
Turmeric contains naturally occurring curcuminoids and antioxidant plant compounds. It contributes to Pineapple Illumination’s warm golden color and supports the appearance of calm, radiant, even-looking skin.
Because turmeric is naturally pigmented, subtle temporary color transfer may occur on very light cloths or porous surfaces.
Alpha Lipoic Acid
Alpha lipoic acid is an antioxidant ingredient that complements vitamins C and E and the formula’s antioxidant-rich botanicals.
It supports the appearance of refreshed, luminous skin and helps defend against the visible effects of environmental stress.
Zinc Picolinate
Zinc picolinate contributes zinc to the formula’s nutrient-rich botanical and mineral profile. It supports a balanced-looking complexion and complements Pineapple Illumination’s refining ingredients.

Product Care
Pineapple Illumination is lovingly handcrafted in micro-batches from aloe vera, pineapple, Velvet de Guérande French gray salt, botanicals, vitamins, antioxidants, and minerals.
Stir the jar thoroughly with a clean, dry utensil before every application, as natural settling or separation may occur.

Refrigeration is optional. Refrigerating Pineapple Illumination can help retain its naturally bright yellow pineapple color and creates a cool, refreshing application. Do not freeze.
Always use a clean, dry utensil to remove the product from the jar. Do not introduce fingers, water, facial mist, a wet cloth, or another product directly into the container.
Do not premix Pineapple Illumination with Moonlight Mist, Glow AHA Dew, or another Elaa product for storage. Products used within the same ritual should remain in their original containers and be combined only at the time of application.
For greatest freshness and product integrity, begin using Pineapple Illumination upon receipt and follow its recommended period after opening.
